Friscous is made with a blend of Italian durum wheat semolina, sourdough starter, turmeric, and aromatic herbs. It's based on a selection of durum wheat semolina and flours, including Senatore Cappelli flour. Low-gluten durum wheat semolina, sourdough starter, and turmeric with its antioxidant properties. After slow kneading, the dough is left to rest for the time necessary for the sourdough starter to develop. The product is then kneaded by hand and baked in ancient olive wood ovens. This makes Friscous a low-calorie, highly digestible, cholesterol-free, and purifying product.
