Dark Chocolate Covered Figs

Chocolate figs are a cornerstone of Apulian tradition: a recipe guarded and passed down from generation to generation. Even today, each fruit is processed by hand, following the ancient artisanal method that preserves its authenticity and quality.
 
 The soft, whole Italian figs are stuffed with fragrant lemon peel and a crunchy almond, then gently steamed and finally coated in rich extra dark chocolate.
